New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Tuesday (March 23) busted three unlawful name centres and arrested 37 individuals for duping overseas nationals by pretending to offer companies for Apple and Amazon Tech Assist.
As per a press release, the accused used to ship voice recordings to overseas nationals pretending to be US Drug Enforcement after which extort cash from them.
Two out of the three name centres had been busted in Janakpuri whereas one was busted in Bindapur.
“On the idea of secret info, a raid was performed on the premises and it was discovered that completely different accused individuals had been operating unlawful name centres in Bindapur and Janakpuri.
