New Delhi: Naxals have issued a purported assertion claiming that they’d kidnapped a CRPF jawan throughout a latest gun battle with the safety forces in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district and have set a situation for his secure launch.

In response to their letter, Naxals have sought some mediators for the kidnapped CRPF commando’s launch.

A two-page assertion reportedly issued by Dandakarnya Special Zonal Committee (DSZC) of the CPI (Maoists) stated the kidnapped jawan “can be secure of their custody” and can be handed over to the police after mediation.

 

 

The assertion is being appeared into, a senior safety officer and a CRPF commander stated.

Twenty-two personnel from numerous safety forces just like the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) of the Central Reserve Police Power, its Bastariya battalion and people from the District Reserve Guard and STF of the Chattisgarh Police have been killed within the ambush that occurred alongside the Bijapur-Sukma border on Saturday.

Thirty-one jawans have been injured whereas CoBRA commando Rakeshwar Singh Minhas, belonging to its 210th battalion, went lacking after the gunfight and was acknowledged to be taken hostage by the Naxalites.

The safety forces had claimed that they recovered the physique of a feminine Maoist from the spot. Signed by the spokesperson of the DSZC, Vikalp, the assertion stated the federal government ought to declare the identify of some “mediators for the discharge of the captured jawan”.

The assertion claimed that the ultras looted 14 weapons, over 2,000 bullets and another communication devices of the troops who have been killed. The assertion added that 4 Naxals have been killed on this ambush and added that they may not choose one physique.
