New Delhi: The Uttarakhand authorities on Friday (April 9) introduced evening curfew in Dehradun from 10 pm to five am in view of the spike in COVID-19 circumstances. 

All colleges from class 1 to 12 have additionally been closed until April 30 in elements of Haridwar, Nainital and the state’s winter capital Dehradun.

“All colleges from class 1 to 12 in Dehradun district barring Kalsi and Chakrata areas and within the municipal limits of Nainital and Haldwani may even stay closed until April 30,” PTI quoted Cupboard Minister and state authorities spokesman Subodh Uniyal as saying. The evening curfew will come into impact from Saturday (April 10). 

Uttarakhand on Friday reported 748 contemporary Covid-19 circumstances, taking the full tally to 1,06,246. The lively circumstances within the state stand at 5,384, whereas 5 deaths and 327 recoveries had been logged in.
